Job Description
- Support production line to achieve target outputs
- Machine data collection for analysis
- Manage and maintain the maintenance schedule for inspection machine.

- Inspection machine improvement and kaizen

- Assist in preventative equipment maintenance and instrument repair
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Mechatronic/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- 1 year (s) of working experience in the related field/ fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Technical knowledge and experience with electronic products and processes along product lifecycle, experience with electronic industry manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to solve complex problems.
- Must be computer literate.
- Good verbal and inter communication skill in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Able to work under time pressure
- Self-discipline
- Able to attend Recovery / Overtime on non-working days.

Job Description
- Assist in evaluate electrical, thermal and mechanical characteristics of integrated circuits, components, sub-components and systems to determine root cause of failure.
- Study and determine the root cause of deviations in process, product, parts and equipment.
- Assist in improve the design of existing product, perform research and testing on products, parts, work process and equipment and continuous improvement effort.
- Assist in develop new test method, standards and protocol to support implementation of new material and product design.
- Assist in develop, conduct and analyze research and development studies.
- Assist in manage machine software
- Asisst in develop, manage and monitor checker machine software (AOI, ICT, FCT) to ensure smooth production and achieve production target
- Asist Superior to ensure that the quality system conforms to ISO requirements and to maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Performs other duties as assigned or required by Superior
Requirements
- Currently enrolled and pursuing diploma or degree in Electronic Engineering
- Minimum of 3 months of internship commitment.
- Required language(s): Fluent command in English, Bahasa Malaysia
- Good problem-solving skills with attention to details.

As an intern, you’ll be learning from industry experts and gaining invaluable exposure to the inner workings of Seki Aoi Techno (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. You will be involved in the continuous efforts of our production in Melaka, and will be working with a team who is keen to help you learn and grow.
Some of your tasks could include:
- To be attached to the Quality Assurance Department and be involved in daily operations.
- To assist with process improvement activities and work with the production team for implementation.
- To perform statistical analysis and evaluation of data for process and productivity improvements.
- To assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures for production activities.
- To assist in creating production support documentation including operations process and productivity.
- Develop, prepare and review reports and studies to identify and recommend engineering solutions
- Work with cross functional department to analyze, troubleshoot and fix issues discovered
- Study and determine the root cause of deviations in process, product, parts and equipment.
- Asist Superior to ensure that the quality system conforms to ISO requirements and to maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Performs other duties as assigned or required by Superior
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing Engineering.
- At least 3 months availability for the internship period.

Salary : ConfidentialAbout the role
To ensure production targets are achieved with controlled cost and on-time delivery by effectively managing manpower, quality performance (FPY and defect rate), downtime, 5S and safety compliance, continuous improvement activities, operator competency through training, part drop control, and smooth implementation of new models or 4M changes in accordance with company and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supervise all production operations including manpower planning, overtime control, and resource management to ensure daily production targets are achieved, overtime is controlled, costs are minimized, and delivery is completed on time.
- Lead, monitor, and manage production workers’ performance to ensure good attendance, discipline, consistent work quality, and reduced rework caused by operator errors, while providing coaching and guidance.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement activities to ensure improvement in productivity, efficiency, and product quality, and to reduce waste and recurring production issues.
- Ensure excellent housekeeping and maintain 5S at a high standard to achieve a clean, safe, and organized work environment, reduce safety risks, and support consistent product quality.
- Upgrade workers’ skills and knowledge through structured training programs to ensure operators are competent, multi-skilled, and able to meet quality and productivity requirements.
- Perform and verify visual inspections to ensure products meet quality requirements, defect rates are controlled, and first-pass yield is maintained.
- Prepare and ensure availability of raw materials and parts to prevent production delays, line stoppages, or quality issues caused by material shortages or errors.
- Update and monitor daily downtime and production yield to ensure quick response to abnormalities and continuous improvement in equipment and process performance.
- Support production planning and prioritize operations to ensure smooth production flow, minimal delays, and adherence to the production plan.
- Monitor part drop and take corrective actions to ensure part loss is minimized and recurring issues are prevented.
- Support new model introduction and 4M changes to ensure smooth changeover with minimal impact on quality, productivity, and delivery.
- Allocate working time effectively between supervision and operational tasks to ensure adequate manpower monitoring and stable daily production performance.
