Production Technician

Job Description

  1. Assist Engineer during troubleshooting machine, adjusting machine program & parameter
  2. Performing X-ray confirmation every start production & after model conversion
  3. Inform & Assist Engineer to write down the report for any abnormality / trouble on machine
  4. Performing & Fill in all check sheet in production line.
  5. Performing the Simple AOI backup data for every week.
  6. Manage & Key In Schedule Waste Quantity into the schedule waste systems.
  7. Assist Engineer for quantity data for parts drops into the system
  8. Provide check sheet at production line for every month
  9. Update & Inform Engineer regarding on spare parts balance & which spare parts need to purchase
  10. Monitor the quality performance on every hours
  11. Do adjustment on machine to maintain the quality performance.
  12. Performing the convert model process on the machine.
  13. Write down the convert time report
  14. Performing & guide operator to do the Normal Maintenance & Fully Maintenance process.
  15. Fill in after Maintenance Check sheet
  16. Performs other duties as assigned or required by Superior

 

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/ Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma in Electrical/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical or equivalent.
  • At least 1~2 year (s) of working experience in Dipping or related is required for this position
  • Experience with manufacturing environment Higher Level Assembly (HLA).
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft programs, including Word and Excel, are necessary.
  • Good verbal and inter communication skill in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Japanese will be added advantage.
  • Able to work under time pressure
  • Self-discipline
  • Computer literate.
  • Able to work long and flexible hours, on shift duties
  • Able to attend Recovery / Overtime on non-working days.
  • Working Time: 8:30am – 8:30pm (day shift) and 8:30pm – 8:30 am (night shift)

Job Description

  • Assist in evaluate electrical, thermal and mechanical characteristics of integrated circuits, components, sub-components and systems to determine root cause of failure.
  • Study and determine the root cause of deviations in process, product, parts and equipment.
  • Assist in improve the design of existing product, perform research and testing on products, parts, work process and equipment and continuous improvement effort.
  • Assist in develop new test method, standards and protocol to support implementation of new material and product design.
  • Assist in develop, conduct and analyze research and development studies.
  • Assist in manage machine software
  • Asisst in develop, manage and monitor checker machine software (AOI, ICT, FCT) to ensure smooth production and achieve production target
  • Asist Superior to ensure that the quality system conforms to ISO requirements and to maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required by Superior

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled and pursuing diploma or degree in Electronic Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 months of internship commitment.

About the role

As an intern, you’ll be learning from industry experts and gaining invaluable exposure to the inner workings of Seki Aoi Techno (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. You will be involved in the continuous efforts of our production in Melaka, and will be working with a team who is keen to help you learn and grow.

Some of your tasks could include:

  1. To be attached to the Quality Assurance Department and be involved in daily operations.
  2. To assist with process improvement activities and work with the production team for implementation.
  3. To perform statistical analysis and evaluation of data for process and productivity improvements.
  4. To assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures for production activities.
  5. To assist in creating production support documentation including operations process and productivity.
  6. Develop, prepare and review reports and studies to identify and recommend engineering solutions
  7. Work with cross functional department to analyze, troubleshoot and fix issues discovered
  8. Study and determine the root cause of deviations in process, product, parts and equipment.
  9. Asist Superior to ensure that the quality system conforms to ISO requirements and to maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS)

Required Skills & Qualifications

  1. Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing Engineering.
  2. At least 3 months availability for the internship period.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Seki Aoi Techno (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in Bukit Rambai Melaka. The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently achieved. This role involves supervising production staff, coordinating workflow, monitoring equipment performance, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Production Management

    • Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to meet output targets.

    • Ensure production schedules and deadlines are achieved efficiently.

    • Monitor production processes and adjust resources as needed.

  2. Team Leadership

    • Supervise, train, and motivate production operators and line leaders.

    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching or feedback to team members.

    • Promote teamwork, discipline, and positive working attitudes among staff.

  3. Quality Control

    • Ensure products meet company and customer quality standards.

    • Work closely with Quality Department to resolve quality issues promptly.

    • Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with SOPs and ISO requirements.

    • Report and investigate any accidents, incidents, or unsafe practices.

  6. Resource & Equipment Management

    • Ensure machines and tools are properly maintained and functioning.

    • Coordinate with maintenance team for preventive and corrective maintenance.

    • Manage raw materials and minimize wastage.

  • Minimum diploma in engineering field with min 3 year working experience as Leader/ technician.
  • Experience in electronics industry will be an added advantage.
